Some Small Paintings & Lunch!

So here are a few of these small paintings on panel in progress in the Town Pavilion Studio.  Just for a size relation the biggest dimension on these is less than 15 inches.

And then I had lunch it was Planet Sub, which is a must for me so good.

First Look at Collaborations

Ok so me and Sike (aka Phil Shaffer) have been working on making some collaborative paintings.  And here are two of these paintings in an early state.  We are going to be making around 15 of these bad boys and girls but just 5 to start with.  These are the first 2 they are about 24" x 48" and 48" x 24" mixed media on plywood panel.

OH, my these are small paintings

So these two paintings are super small for me no side over 12".

The image of the one on top is finished but still needs a title.

The image of the one on the bottom is not finished but does have a working title Victorian Dinosaurs.

I also have two more of these small paintings that at this time are very early in the works.

All of these will be on view at the UCP open studio's on the weekend of May 18-19, my studio is in the Town Pavilion Building at 1100 Walnut St. Kansas City MO, for more information about the open studio's go to www.charlottestreet.org or www.urbanculturestudioresidents.wordpress.com.
